Service December 24, 2021 – Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Service December 24, 2021

As an experiment we tried recording the Christmas Eve service this year. Rather than having the camera close to Pastor and the front of the church, we moved it to the back to get the congregation into the recording. We hoped to catch the members holding the lights in singing the traditional Silent Night.

Sermon:

On Christmas Eve, Pastor traditionally speaks of the birth of Christ, and His coming into the world  as our savior. This service Pastor focused on His names, or rather names. Jesus is the name we normally think of our savior, and of course that means God saves or delivers us. But, the other name linked to Him is Emmanuel, which means God is with us. Pastor spoke on how God’s Son was both. He was with us, and will be with us again in a new heaven and new earth, but that is only possible for us because He offers us salvation by believing in Him.

Accessing the Service:

Here is a video record of the service on Rumble, an alternative to YouTube. I think it turned out well for a first time. We can optimize it for next year

If you would like a link to this service you can find it here. Perhaps you would like to share it with your friends. You could also share that link on social media, if you use any of the providers.

Lastly, if you would like to see all the services, you can find them here.
