1 Kings 8:23
And he said, “O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart.”
For announcements, we were reminded about the the opportunity to support Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child by donating to the church to cover the cost of shipping the boxes. Through the generosity of the church members, we have enough items for the AWANA children to fill the boxes. But, each box costs $9 for the church to ship to Samaritan’s Purse. Also, we had another reminder about the upcoming Thanksgiving Dinner at the Church on November 14, right after service.
Pastor Jim continued his series on Colossians by covering Colossians 3:12-15 with a sermon entitled “True Worship,” which covered a description of what worship is, an overflow of the heart, along with covering how worship includes every aspect of life.
