Sermon:

Jim’s sermon surveyed Genesis, his favorite book in Bible. He chose to highlight many famous Bible stories, the flood, the story of Abraham, and Isaac. His survey finished with Jacob’s son Joseph and his rise from being sold into slavery to be second only to Pharaoh in Egypt. Jim reminded us that all of the arc of Genesis is God’s story, a story about where we came from and were we are going.  Put another way, Jim saw God imploring us to get in to the wagon with him, and be his children. But, the question for us is will we have him be our Father? We should accept His invitation and joyfully submit.
